Annual Convention

Our 65th Annual Convention was held at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Plymouth, Massachusetts, “America’s Hometown” on October 24th through 26th.

The following awards were presented:

• 2011 Supplier Lifetime Achievement Award: Lynda Utterback, editor, National Dipper Magazine.
• 2011 Member Lifetime Achievement Award: Peggy Warren, Four Seas Ice Cream Centerville, MA.
• Pat Whitley’s WRKO People’s Choice Best Ice Cream: Richardson’s Ice Cream, Middleton, MA
  
• The National Dipper’s Bob Bryson Person of The Year Award: David Mabel, The Ice Creamsmith, Dorchester, MA

NEICRA’s Dick Warren Scholarships were awarded to the following:

•  $1000 to Brodie Shephard, Sno Top Ice Cream, Manlius, NY
• $750 to Avery Pecci, Cherry Farm Ice Cream, Danvers, MA
• $500 to Michelle Forella, Farmington Ice Cream, Farmington, CT
• $500 to Rachel Levitt, Calico & Creme Ice Cream, Hubbardston, MA
